Charlotte has almost 20 years’ experience in local government research and intelligence, resulting in extensive knowledge of the collection and analysis of a wide range of open and public data. With a focus on turning data into intelligence for evidence-informed decisions, this includes topics such as public health and well-being, area profiling, and inequalities and deprivation – as well as her particular specialism of demographics.
Charlotte’s passion is demystifying data and telling the story behind the numbers in an accurate but interesting way - translating technical analysis into meaningful findings for people who don’t 'speak stats'. She enjoys helping them work out what they need to know.
She has an M.Sc. in Statistics, and is a non-executive member of the Data Orchard board.
