Training and capacity building
We deliver creative and engaging workshops with leaders, board members and staff to enable learning and development on data maturity, data strategy and impact measurement. We also deliver data fluency training and develop learning resources to build data skills and capabilities.
We supported Scotland’s law centre for children and young people, Clan Childlaw, to complete a data maturity assessment, develop a data strategy, and then take action to implement their strategy.
We delivered a day of inhouse training on data visualisation skills to young people working with an international conservation NGO as part of their work to develop employment and training opportunities in the environment sector.
We worked with Data Cymru to help make databasic.io available for Welsh organisations, creating bilingual and culturally appropriate workshop materials and providing DataBasicCymru+, our facilitated training package.
We took the lead on the development and delivery of materials including focusing a data problem on the most important actions, key aspects of quantitative and qualitative analysis, and bringing together the right data to solve my problem.
We ran a series of one hour workshops every couple of weeks for our clients, emh group. This ‘bite-sized’ approach gave the team time to apply their learning in the office before moving on to the next workshop.
