What’s your funniest idea for an AI-related t-shirt slogan?
Data Orchard is having a bit of fun this autumn and we’re launching an AI T-shirt slogan contest.
The contest will be launched at our ‘AI: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly’ Nonprofit Datafolk Club event (Thursday 8 October 1-2 pm). The event is free to attend for people working in the nonprofit sector data/digital/AI space, so make sure you’re there to join in the fun.
The inspiration for the contest comes from a couple of summer sightings of funny AI-related slogans on music artists’ T-shirts. And fair play, AI poses a serious threat to artists’ rights and ownership of their creative work. We are of course open to positive AI slogans too.

As a feminist-led social enterprise we’re big fans of Self Esteem. Both Mads (my Co CEO) and I had the opportunity to see them perform at festivals over the summer. We loved their “AI is for Lazy Cunts” t-shirt which you can purchase here.

Meanwhile, on Felixstowe beach, I met a guy on the promenade wearing a ‘Rage Against the Machine Learning’ T-shirt, which I found clever and amusing. I can’t see that it’s anywhere among the merch of the band ‘Rage against the Machine’ but it has led me to a whole site of tech, AI and Automation related T-shirts.
